Autism & Parent Support Advisor
Autism & Parent Support Advisor
As an autism & parent support advisor with over 10 years of experience in SEN and a background working for an autism charity supporting parents, I understand the challenges and triumphs that come with supporting neurodivergent children and their families. I have worked 1-1 with autistic children and others with varying Special Educational Needs, both in and outside of the school environment. I also have an amazing 16-year-old autistic son, whom I have been home educating for the past 3 years. I feel this gives me not only a professional perspective on the complexities of navigating this journey, but also an empathetic and personal one too.
My approach is grounded in understanding, compassion, patience and a deep commitment to empowering families, enabling them to live authentic, happy and fulfilled lives. I aim to provide tailored guidance, practical strategies, and emotional support, ensuring that each family I work with feels understood and equipped to help their child thrive. I am passionate about making a positive, lasting difference in the lives of every neurodiverse family I go on a journey with.
